In 1977, Jim and Linda Stump founded Stump’s Family Marketplace. Our store has grown to be a local staple in the Point Loma and Ocean Beach community, offering competitive pricing and unique items.

We provide in house catering out of Marissa’s Deli serving an array of different styled dishes for any type of event! Comprehensive Grocery
Stump’s is a full service market providing our customers with all your favorite national brands, as well as local products from businesses around the community. Our grocery carries your everyday essentials including meat, frozen goods, dairy, and produce. We also carry many specialty items such as Stump’s spices, locally made sauces, snacks, and international gourmet cheeses. Stump’s also receives daily shipments from our very own Major Market branded items.
Marissa’s Deli
Marissa’s Deli is a full service delicatessen providing more than just the average, we go above and beyond! The deli is known for homemade flavors – specialty dishes (all made fresh daily). Some of Marisa’s favorites are the smoked salmon, her homemade soups and of course…Tamales!! We offer in house catering for all types of events and serve holiday dinners. Grab n Go meals are also available, as well as Boar’s Head sandwiches, meats and cheeses.

Here at Stump’s we pride ourselves on having the highest quality meat and seafood. All meat is cut and trimmed daily by our experienced butchers, and we’re always happy to assist with custom cuts to accommodate your needs!
We carry all natural Certified Angus Beef, USDA Choice or Prime, as well as our famous Bourbon Peppercorn Tri-Tip! All pork and chicken is fresh and all natural. We carry tender and juicy Prairie Farms Pork, as well as Seaboard Farms…a unique top of the line pork you won’t find anywhere else! For chicken we have premium poultry including Smart Chicken and Rosie Chicken. We also have Foster Farms and carry our own private label chicken at value price! Organic and antibiotic free options available.
Our seafood is the best in town! We have reasonably priced wild caught fish delivered 6 days a week to ensure the ultimate freshness. Popular favorites are UNA’s Salmon and Scottish Salmon.
Our meat department also specializes in handmade sausages! Flavors include, Italian sausage, bratwurst, andouille and chicken basil. Custom sausage flavor is available upon request.
